Board of Education Meeting

Mandatory Board Member Training
Board members in office on January 1, 2012, are required to complete Open Meetings Act training within one year of that date. Board members taking office after January 1, 2012, must complete this training no later than 90 days after taking the oath of office. The following District 35 Board of Education members completed the Open Meetings Act Training:

- Kelly Glauberman
- Jason Kunreuther
- Joshua Markus
- Dev Mukherjee
- David Napier
Board members who are elected after June 13, 2011, or who are appointed to fill a vacancy of at least one year’s duration after June 13, 2011; must complete Professional Development Leadership training by June 13, 2012, or within the first year of the board member’s first term. This training includes education and labor law, financial oversight and accountability, and fiduciary responsibilities. The following District 35 Board of Education members completed the Professional Development Leadership training:

Student Immunization Data
Public Act 97-0910 requires the school district to make student immunization data available each year on the District website. School districts are currently required to submit this information to the Illinois State Board of Education on an annual basis. The following is a summary of the District 35 student immunization data:

Future Meetings
You are invited to the meetings of the Board of Education. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. at Central School (unless otherwise noted on the agenda). It will be held in Young Auditorium. Each agenda provides a time for "Public Comments" when citizens may address the Board.
