Dear Parents and Community Members: 

We begin the 2025–26 school year with clarity of purpose and a continued commitment to excellence. Guided by our Strategic Priorities—advancing learning and innovation, deepening connections, and nurturing wellness and belonging—we remain focused on our shared mission: Growing Every Heart and Mind.

We continue to support focused, engaged learning through our Away for the Day initiative, ensuring classrooms are free from personal device distractions. At the same time, we recognize the importance of purposeful technology use in the classroom. This year, we will also introduce clear technology usage guidelines to help students, staff, and families navigate the balance between screen time and meaningful learning with district-issued technology. 

Safety for our students and staff remains a top priority. All staff receive annual emergency training, and we conduct school-specific drills in partnership with Glencoe Public Safety. We are also enhancing our communication procedures to keep families informed in the event of an emergency.

In Spring 2025, we welcomed three new Board of Education members and look forward to continued collaboration and strong community partnerships in the year ahead. 
We invite families and community members to stay connected, reach out, and engage with us as we work together to support every learner. Thank you for your continued support as we begin this new chapter together.
