Glencoe District 35 presents Hearts & Minds In MotionJoin us as District 35 celebrates World Heart Day to raise awareness about heart health and the importance of caring for everyone in our community. Come move, connect, and grow together as we prioritize the health of every heart and mind in our community.

  • Buy Raffle Tickets – tickets will be available for purchase at the event for a range of wonderful items
  • Enjoy The Bed Heads – Enjoy D35 alumni band playing fan favorites to keep our energy high
  • Sponsor or Contribute – Help fund wellness activities for the day
  • Volunteer on the Day of the Event – Please email Betty Weir if you would like to volunteer at our event

Walk-a-Thon

Walk 10 laps around our family-friendly walkathon course and get moving together. Every step is a celebration of wellness and a commitment to heart health. Walk with friends, classmates, and neighbors as we show the power of community in motion.

Oversized Walkthrough Heart

Step inside a giant heart and see how this incredible organ keeps us alive. An onsite cardiologist will guide you through each chamber, explaining how the heart works. It’s an unforgettable way to learn more about the science of keeping your heart strong and healthy.

Raffle with Local Prizes

Enter our raffle for the chance to win exciting prizes donated by local businesses and partners. From gift cards to special treats, there’s something fun for everyone. All proceeds support community health initiatives—so your entry makes a difference.

Health Course Sign-ups (including CPR)

Take an important step by signing up for CPR training, offered to all community members. This life-saving course will be scheduled for a later date, giving you the chance to learn critical skills at a convenient time. Stop by the table to register and commit to making our community a safer place for everyone.

Heart-Healthy Breakfast Bites

Refuel with a selection of light and nutritious breakfast options designed with heart health in mind. Enjoy fresh bites while learning more about the power of healthy eating. 

Community Conversations

Join meaningful conversations with neighbors, educators, and health experts about what wellness means in our community. Share stories, exchange ideas, and celebrate the collective steps we’re taking toward healthier living.
