(More) Directory Information The school district may release directory information regarding students to be used in compiling the student directory. This information includes the following: Student Name Address Parent/Guardian Names and Addresses Telephone Number Grade Teacher/Advisor Student pictures without identifying information are frequently posted on the district web page with informational pieces. Any parent(s)/guardian(s) may prohibit the release of any or all of the above by delivering a written objection to the Building Principal by August 21, 2009.

(More) Placement Information Within the Family Access portion of our website, class placement information for 2009-2010 will be shared online. Information will be mailed home in August detailing the directions for accessing your child's class placement information via our district website. Your letter will contain your family username and password. The class list information will be available on Friday, August 14th. For parents of a child entering kindergarten, your child's conference schedule and details will be arriving via mail by Saturday, August 15th.

(More) Requred Medical Records Please note the following medical record requirements for public schools. Should you have questions, please call the school office (South School: 847-835-6400, West School: 847-835-6400 and Central School: 847-835-7600). Illinois law requires proof of an eye examination by an optometrist or physician who provides complete eye exams be submitted as a child enters kindergarten or is new to an Illinois school. The exam must be completed within one year prior to your child beginning school. All forms must be turned in by October 15th. Download the EYE EXAM form here. All children in kindergarten, sixth grade and new to the district must provide the school with documentation of a completed health exam within 1 year prior to the start of the school year. All forms must be turned in by October 15th. Download the HEALTH EXAM form here. All children in kindergarten, second and sixth grade must provide the school with documentation of a completed dental exam within 1 year prior to the start of the school year. All forms must be turned in by May 15th. Download the DENTAL EXAM form here. 
(More) Summer Explorations 2009 Summer School is off to a great start! Pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students are participating in the four week Summer Explorations program. Classes meet at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. covering a wide range topic such as Jump Start South, Beginning Guitar, Young Athletes, Kids in the Kitchen, Video Production, and much more!! Our thanks to Nan Weiss-Ham and Allison Rose, Summer School Co-Directors, for their work throughout the past school year organizing and planning the program.     
(More) Bus Registration Bus registration for the 2009-10 school year began on Monday, February 23, 2009. Please visit the District website (www.glencoeschools.org). You can register online (if paying by Visa or Mastercard) OR download the appropriate forms (if paying by check) and mail your registration. You can also register in person at the Business Office located inside Central School. Please note that registrations (other than Park District ONLY) must be received in the Business Office by 4:30 p.m. on May 27, 2009. Registrations received after that time (other than Park District ONLY) will be subject to a $75 late fee. Registrations received after June 30, 2009 will be subject to a $75 late fee and no guarantee of ridership start date. Financial assistance is available if you qualify.
